Growing up homeschooled pushed me to be creative in ways conventional students might not experience. I once built a full human cell replica out of jello and candy, one of the first signs of how my creative mind worked. My mom always told me I thought differently than my siblings, and she was right. That creativity led me to study graphic design and advertising in college so I could turn my ideas into something meaningful.

For me, creativity has always been an outlet. While others journaled, I drew my thoughts, handmade cards, and explored ways to express myself visually. Eventually I realized this passion could become a career, especially since I thrive in collaborative, energetic environments. Design is more challenging than I expected, but seeing ideas come to life makes it worth it. I’m constantly asking how I can improve a piece, how to make it more exciting, memorable, and impactful.

Design is more than visuals or catchy phrases; it tells stories, sparks emotion, and connects people. As an extrovert, I love working with a team, sharing ideas, and being part of something bigger. Through design, I get to create, collaborate, and make a difference. It’s hard work, but it’s rewarding, and I’m excited knowing my journey as a designer is just beginning.
